You can prep the thrash superiority to use for rented mornings, and plane make Pumpkin Pancakes using it. Whatever it is, this recipe unchangingly finds its way into our meal plans come December and has got to be on yours!
Ingredients You'll Need
- Egg – You could sub with a flax egg but I haven’t tried that out
- Sugar – I use granulated sugar here
- Pumpkin Puree – Both fresh or canned work. To make fresh pumpkin puree, the steps are outlined in the recipe vellum below
- Milk –Whole milk, can be subbed with plant milk
- Vanilla Pericope – Don’t skip this!
- All-Purpose Flour (Maida) – You can use gluten-free flour instead to make these gluten-free
- Baking Powder – I use aluminium-free sultry powder from Urban Platter
- Butter – to add moisture and for brushing
- Spices – Garam Masala (or Pumpkin Spice Powder), Cinnamon, Ground Dry Ginger
How to make Pumpkin Spice Waffles
- Add eggs, pumpkin puree, milk, vanilla pericope and spices to a trencher and whisk.
- Add flour, sultry powder, sugar and melted butter and mix again
- The thrash will be lumpy but don't overmix and try to make it smooth
- To start making pumpkin waffles, preheat the waffle iron and skim it with butter
- Pour ¼ cup thrash in the part-way of the waffle plate
- Melt for approx 4 minutes till the waffles are well-done and golden brown
Serving Ideas
- Top these off with some maple syrup, a little bit of whipped cream, and some toasted pecans to get that Pumpkin Pie feel! Or you can top this with some butter and honey (trust me on this combination!)
- Serve with fresh fruit – persimmon is in season and it pairs perfectly with these! You can moreover skip the maple syrup and honey and instead top this with some stewed apples and yogurt to make this plane increasingly cozy and comforting.
There’s nothing like cozying up with your family during this time of the year, with some pumpkin waffles of course
